We have begun the development of our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) to help us sustainably and strategically take meaningful action to advance reconciliation.
Our RAP Working Group (21 people from across our organisation) have joined representatives from the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation and Esther Pearce a First Nations Consultant from Culture to Country, to look at ways we can continue our journey in Reconciliation.
So far, we have joined Reconciliation Australia to be guided by their RAP resources, reflected on what the CBF is already doing in reconciliation and started early work on our vision and prospective actions.
In the coming months, our RAP Working Group will explore ways to strengthen relationships and develop strategies that will aim to improve outcomes for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Our sincerest thanks to our dedicated RAP Working Group who are playing integral roles in shaping our reconciliation journey.
We look forward to updating you on our RAP over the coming months. For more information, we welcome you to contact our CEO Jo Curtin or our Senior Communication Advisor Chantelle who is bringing our RAP to life.
