Roadmap 2033 launched on Saturday 21 October at an event at SWR’s new studios in Blacktown Sydney where it was formally presented to Minister for Communications, the Hon Michelle Rowland.
Roadmap 2033 is a ten-year plan for community broadcasters to achieve greater impact in every Australian community. It is ready for launch after 12 months of research and collaboration within Australia’s community broadcasting sector.
The Roadmap outlines a shared vision for the future where: “Community broadcasting is at the heart of every community – where informed, connected communities are strengthened by trusted, creative, independent media.”
Arriving at stations in the next few days will be a printed copy of Roadmap 2033 together with a poster of the strategic priorities and postcards to share with volunteers.
