Vaughn has specialised in RPH programming, sector development and station management over the past 25 years.

He was manager of Print Radio Tasmania for over eight years, and served on the Board of RPH Australia and as its Chair for more than a decade. Vaughn still produces a weekly radio program, informing the Australian Blind and Vision Impaired community, and lives in Tasmania with his family.
