We are excited to give a warm welcome to Daniel Blair, our new Finance Audit Risk Management (FARM) Committee Independent Chairperson. As part of the FARM Committee, Dan will assist the CBF Board in managing and discharging its corporate governance responsibilities, audit requirements and risk management strategy.
Dan Blair is a Managing Director, Board Director and Corporate Advisor with over a decade of board-level experience in the media, finance, investment, construction and telecom sectors. With a career spanning over 20+ years in media, tech and telecommunications – both as an operator and working in capital markets & investment banking – Dan has brings a wealth of knowledge and experience from several industries and across multiple regions, including his business strategy expertise and financial networks. His skills also include business and corporate strategy, operating experience, senior management, governance, investment and risk management.
Dan is an avid community radio listener and supporter when it comes to Brisbane’s 4ZZZ and his birth city in Auckland, with 95Bfm. He loves that community radio supports emerging artists and fosters diverse voices within the community. Dan’s experience is backed by several professional degrees and qualifications and he is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
