Sharon Babyack

Board Director

Sharon Babyack is the General manager of Impact and Strategy at Community First Development, a national First Nations’ community development and research organization. She is a values-led executive, with over twenty years’ experience within leadership, strategic management, advocacy and research focusing on positively impacting the lives of everyday Australians. She was a voluntary Director (2012–15) and volunteer radio Breakfast Radio presenter (2015-16) for Community Broadcaster, 1WAYFM. She is an accomplished strategist with a track record of growth and transformation.

Sharon has developed a research and advocacy Group which has served as an influential voice within a complex political landscape. She is well regarded for her work in ethical practice. Across her career, she has actively engaged with emerging policy and political issues to inform critical decision making. Her experience includes over a decade of advisory support and research at the Senate, various roles in social policy at the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet and close to a decade in the for-purpose sector. She has an interest in innovation, collaboration, communication and the arts to inform and improve outcomes.

Bachelor of Arts (majors political science and history)
