Margaret Cassidy
Board Director
Margaret has 30 years experience working in the media including extensive editorial, policy, strategy and digital media experience in senior management roles at the ABC. These include working as Deputy Director of the Technology Division and Head of the ABC’s national radio networks – triple j, ABC Classic FM, Radio National and ABC NewsRadio.
Margaret currently teaches media innovation at the University of Sydney and is a PhD candidate at the University of Tasmania focusing on photojournalism and the visual representation of migrant groups in the Australian media. She is also on the Boards of Ngroo Education Incorporated and the Oceanic Art Society.
Margaret joined the CBF Board in 2021.
