Jiselle has been a volunteer broadcaster in community radio since 1999. She has been involved in many national sectoral bodies including the NEMBC and the CBAA. Jiselle is a public sector employee, and an active member and delegate of her union, the CPSU. Jiselle has been producing the national show, Accent of Women, since 2000; is involved in training and development of new volunteers in the sector; and is an active participant in community campaigns to end racism.
