Our Volunteer Manager Georgie hosted an online welcome session for new grant assessors on Monday.
This informal session welcomed these new volunteers to the CBF and covered info about the role and where assessors fit in the grants process, the training and resources offered, and some do’s & don’ts of assessment.
Our latest ten assessors include:
Ehsan Vossough – Ehsan has been on the management committee of 2MCR for 5 years, where he has broadcasted since 1991 and helped with the design and implementation of new studio equipment. He has a masters in electrical engineering and a PhD in computer science.
Joe Borg – Joe is the President of 2WOW in Sydney. He produces, directs, films and edits ‘Gday Maltaussies Show’ for 2WOW and also for Foxtel Aurora’s 173 Channel. Joe has also presented a sports segment on SBS Radio’s Maltese Program.
Malcolm Honess – Malcolm has worked in radio broadcasting for over 40 years including as a producer and announcer at the ABC, presenter of breakfast programs at 2YOU and Tank FM, and as a producer and presenter at Radio Australia for 11 years.
