We are thrilled to welcome Tina Biggs to the CBF Board for 12 months as a Board Observer, under The Observership Program.

The CBF is participating in The Observership Program for a fourth year – a program that facilitates the involvement of young, talented and energetic individuals in a structured experience on non-profit Boards.  The program aims to develop the skills and experience of individuals to pursue leadership roles in the non-profit sector and wider community.

Tina Biggs has lived in regional Victoria over the last 15 years, where she has been an energetic member of the local arts community, raised a young family and established a career in local government.  She has worked across community development and arts, overcoming regional barriers to strive for positive change at a local level.  Tina has established community networks to generate support, collaboration and partnership on social campaigns and emerging issues.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts with additional study in engagement, visual arts and leadership but continues to learn from her personal lived experiences and her community.

Tina is a spirited advocate of equity and social justice on issues that affect First Nations Peoples and women and girls.  She is keen to deliver authentic outcomes through effective governance and ethical best practice, engaging in open dialogue and challenging the status quo.

Welcome aboard Tina, we look forward to working with you!
