A warm welcome to Rachel Rees who joined the CBF as our new Executive officer this week.
Rachel has extensive experience working in senior strategic and operational management roles across the not-for-profit, media and corporate sectors.
This includes working as the National Operations Manager at Essential Media Communications and Database Project Manager in the Commissioning department of the ABC.
Most recently Rachel was the General Manager of two tech companies owned by the same group of directors: Codeware, a digital transformation agency and PlayHQ Sports, a software development start-up up that creates cloud-based platforms for the effective management of grassroots sports.
Rachel has worked in commercial media both here in Australia and in the UK. She has also had roles in community radio and television including as a Board member of JOY 94.9 for four years. She currently sits on the Wilderness Society of Australia (Victoria) Committee of Management.
