Today we say a warm farewell to our Partnerships & Projects Manager, Tracee Hutchison, who is leaving us to take up new opportunities in 2021.
A 40-year veteran of the community broadcasting and Australian media sectors, Tracee has overseen the delivery of some outstanding projects for the CBF and the sector. These include the Community Journalism Training Project, run in partnership with the Community Media Training Organisation, and the development of the inaugural Trauma Literacy and Resilience Project for bushfire affected community broadcasters, in partnership with the DART Centre for Journalism and Trauma (Asia/Pacific), global leaders in that space.
Tracee also produced some first-class online content during her time at the CBF, including for the #YourStationYourVoice social media video campaign that captured the impact of COVID-19 on community radio stations around the country and the community broadcasting trailblazers Q&A series featuring some of the sector’s ground-breaking contributors.
Tracee’s passion and commitment to community broadcasting has underpinned everything she has done during her time with us. And we’re sure she won’t be too far from her happy place in community radio, behind the mic!
