Virginia Lowe discovered her passion for community radio after suffering a major injury that left her isolated at home. Seeking engagement with her community, Virginia tuned into her local station, Eastside Radio. After her health improved, Virginia responded to the call for office volunteers at the station. It wasn’t long before she started her own music show.

“My listeners really get me – I only wish that I’d come to it (community radio) earlier. The post-show buzz I get is worth any work that I put into making it happen.”
