Lex Marinos OAM

Lex is a former Vice President of the Community Broadcasting Foundation who is passionate about community media. Lex is best known for his work as an actor in Kingswood Country and The Slap, and in musical theatre, The King and I. Lex has also directed Australian films and television series. Awarded an OAM for services to the performing arts, Lex has held advisory and governance positions with the Sydney Organising Committee for the Olympic Games and the Australia Council. Lex has also worked as a radio announcer on various ABC and commercial networks.
Lex was the Executive Producer of the Yeperenye Federation Festival, which took place in Alice Springs as part of Centenary of Federation Celebrations.
His book Blood and Circuses: an irresponsible memoir was published in 2014.
