Jurgen Schaub

Jurgen’s career is centred on information, governance, and the human experience of technology in the not-for-profit and government sectors.
He has volunteered at 3PBS since 2005, and served on the PBS Board from 2011 until 2023, nearly half of that as Chair. Jurgen also volunteered for or assisted numerous other Melbourne-based community stations since arriving here from Vancouver in 2001.
For a number of years, he ran an organisation providing streaming media and on-demand services for several community stations around the country. He currently works in technology with the Victorian Government, and in the past has served as the information and technology leader at Infoxchange and at Berry Street Victoria.
Jurgen was the Chair of our Development & Operations Grants Advisory Committee for several years, and was also previously Chair of the Sector Investment Advisory Committee.
Jurgen joined the CBF Board in 2020.
