Every day, community media provides invaluable learning opportunities for the media makers of tomorrow. For some, these training and hands-on learning opportunities are life-changing.

Airing Monday to Friday, 4-5pm, Youth Jukebox on 2RRR allows students from local schools to broadcast live on-air. Programming focuses on local youth activities and mental health, amplifying the voices of young people in Sydney. Youth Jukebox has sparked a love of community media in young broadcasters, with many pursuing media as a career.

“We’re reconnecting youth to the community by speaking to them in their voice.” 2RRR Youth Coordinator
